Case Study

Valentino Spring 2025 Showcase Design

An ivory-toned immersive installation at Breeze Boutique Taipei — integrating carpets, drapery, wall vinyls, and professional lighting into a cohesive environment. A dedicated press zone elevated both media coverage and guest experience.

Act I — Concept & Planning

The concept began with a single direction: purity and focus. By adopting a restrained ivory monochrome, the boutique was stripped of distractions and transformed into a stage where tailoring, fabrics, and craftsmanship could stand out. Every surface — from floor carpeting to wall vinyl to soft drapery — contributed to one continuous language of elegance.

Alongside spatial design, media requirements were carefully planned. The press backdrop was dimensioned (L400–450 × H300–380 cm) to accommodate diverse camera angles, while lighting positions were sketched to guarantee skin tone accuracy and legible Valentino logotypes across images.

A quiet and disciplined spatial vocabulary allowed the garments themselves to become the protagonists.

Act II — Fabrication & On-site Build

Once the concept was locked, fabrication began. Draperies were cut and sewn to precise dimensions, with pleats adjusted to create balanced shadow lines. The press backdrop was assembled and measured on site, while lighting rigs with RGBWW panels and softboxes were calibrated for both photography and video coverage.

Our multidisciplinary team — from textile specialists to lighting engineers — collaborated on-site to deliver a flawless integration. Every detail, from the width of each curtain fold to the softness of a beam angle, contributed to a cohesive brand expression.

Act III — Launch, Press & Guest Experience

Opening day activated the design. The press wall provided a high-visibility focal point, amplifying media coverage and guest-generated content. Carefully tuned lighting ensured that images taken across the space were consistent, elegant, and aligned with Valentino’s brand codes.

Guests explored dedicated zones — handbags, footwear, and ready-to-wear — each differentiated through subtle layout cues while maintaining one continuous narrative. Champagne and desserts extended hospitality, encouraging dwell time and reinforcing brand warmth.
